Eastnine AB (publ): Eastnine property receives LEED Platinum certification

Alojas Biroji received 89 points, out of 106 possible in the evaluation, which is the highest score of the four properties which have achieved LEED Platinum in Latvia. Eastnine aims to environmentally certify 100 percent of the portfolio (excluding properties expected to undergo extensive development) in accordance with minimum LEED Gold or BREEAM Excellent. At present only two properties, corresponding to 19 per cent of the area, remain to be certified. Certification work is underway for one of the properties and is expected to be completed in the third quarter 2020.

"We continue our ambitious sustainability work and are convinced that modern and sustainable properties are beneficial to both tenants and the community," says Kestutis Sasnauskas, CEO of Eastnine.
