Thin Film Electronics ASA: THIN - Approval and Publication of Prospectus

Reference is made to the stock exchange notice published by Thin Film
Electronics ASA ("Thinfilm" or the "Company") on 16 March 2016 when an
Extraordinary General Meeting in the Company resolved a private placement of
120,000,000 new shares and issue of 40,000,000 warrants in the Company, to
funds managed by Woodford Investment Management LLP.

The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway (Nw. Finanstilsynet) approved
the following prospectus on 30 March 2016: "Prospectus in connection with the
admission to trading on Oslo Børs of
120,000,000 new shares that have been issued in a private placement, all with
a par value of NOK 0.11 per share
